Implantable bioelectronics offer promising prospects in addressing the healthcare technology challenges by enabling precise real-time monitoring of mechanical biosignals such as blood pressure and respiratory rate. Nevertheless, significant obstacles persist concerning inflammation at the implantation site induced by metal interconnects and batteries. The quest for medical devices that effectively tackle these issues remains paramount. In this talk, we developed the biocompatible, implantable sensor for wireless monitoring of bio-signals. Biocompatible ionogel composed of of hydrogen-bonded ions on the surface of functionalized gold particles (AuNPs) embedded into chitosan biopolymer. Moreover, in achieving wireless communication, the integration of Bionogel into the LC circuit antenna allows harmless, seamless transmission of subtle biosignals from the sensor at the low frequency. It will likely attract the scope of applications of our material to the next-generation health monitoring system.
