The important factor in the synthesis of non-fullerene acceptors (NFAs) that absorb the near-infrared (NIR) region is the enhancement of intramolecular charge transfer (ICT). Also, it is important factor to increase the charge injection barrier in organic photodetectors (OPDs) to reduce the dark current (Jdark). [u1] Herein, to enhance ICT, thieno[3,2-b]thiophene (TT), alkoxy thiophene, and IC-2F were adopted as the core, π-bridge, and end group, respectively. However, there is poor solubility due to the strong crystallinity of TT and the S-O interaction between TT and alkoxy thiophene. In this study, 2-(2-ethylhexyl)thiophene was adopted as a side chain to increase the solubility. In addition, we introduced 2-(2-ehtylhexyl)-3-fluorothiophene as the side chain to lower HOMO energy level. Therefore, we expect to increase the charge injection barrier and lower the Jdark that affect the sensitivity of OPDs.
