Electroluminescent quantum dots(EL-QD) of next-generation displays are still being actively researched. In order to manufacture EL-QD devices, it is desirable to do an inkjet process. However, for printing, it is necessary to ink quantum dots, which are relatively large particles. To carry out this process, we adjusted the solubility of quantum dots through surface modification and confirmed particle size and dispersion stability. Finally, we proceeded with inking for the QD device. As a result, ink droplets were successfully formed and the main problem of inkjet, the dewetting phenomenon, was not found. In addition, we present a mixed ligand surface modification method to solve the dewetting problem that occurs during printing.
