Irregular lithium dendrites on the lithium metal anode could pass through the solid electrolyte, causing internal short-circuit & making it difficult to use all-solid-state batteries. Although single-ion conducting polymer electrolytes (SIPEs) is one strategy for dealing with the drawbacks, SIPEs have inherently low ionic conductivities (~10-4 S/cm). Herein, we prepared single-co-dual lithium salt gel polymer electrolytes (SDIPEs) by combining SIPEs with a dual-ion lithium salt (LiTFSI). The FT-IR analysis indicates that TFSI anion can interact with NMA, a plasticizer that has crystallinity at room temperature. As a result, SDIPEs have no crystallinity even at 193K and high σDC (7×10-4 S/cm) with SDIPE2 at 298K. SDIPE2 has a high tLi+ (0.67) even though LiTFSI was included. Meanwhile, it has stable electrochemical performance at 4.5V and 0.60mAh/cm2. The assessment of mechanical and electrochemical characteristics of the SDIPEs could serve as a guide for designing LMBs.
