The multi-compartment miktoarm core cross-linked star (CCS) polymers were utilized to supramolecular polymerization as a building block via two step polymerization-induced self-assembly (PISA). Spatially controlled growth position of the second arm due to the core size induces 1D supramolecular polymerization via the repetitive association between the CCS polymers. However, detailed research on polymerization components was insufficient to manipulate the super structure morphologies. Here, we made a hypothesis that the core size would influence the number of patches for the chain extension and create the various directions of supramolecular polymerization. Also, when the interaction parameter between each arm decreases, onset of supramolecular polymerization would be delayed or not occur. We will investigate the behavior of supramolecular polymerization according to variation of the core size and the interaction parameter of second arms.
