Microfluidics method is sophisticate system to fabricate monodisperse solid nematic liquid crystal (NLC) shell. NLC in shell which is fabricated has only orientational ordering but positional ordering. To control this orientation, we need to materials which stimulate externally. We selected hydrophilic Sodium Dodecyl Sulfate (SDS) surfactant that can induce the orientation of homeotropic. That oriented shell can solidify liquid crystal shell in liquid state by using UV curing system and easily store long period. By extracting non-reactive nematic mesogen which contained solid NLC shell, we can fabricate porous LC shell membrane. When polymerized solid NLC shell react with good solvent (e. g. Pyridine), We have the thinnest of thickness because of extension of shell. If we use Lambda (λ) retardation plate So that utilize difference of birefringence, we can identify degree of orientation in liquid crystal mesogen and prove positive order parameter of NLC shell.
