Synthesis of Aliphatic Polyisocyanates with Low-crystallizing and Flexible properties

Polyurethane resins are used in many fields today. Among them, polyurethane elastomers having excellent physical and dynamic properties have many advantages. A polyurethane elastomer having flexibility can be obtained by reacting an isocyanate-terminated polycaprolactone prepolymer with an amine chain extender. It is also called Polyurea. However, there are difficulties in the process of synthesizing an isocyanate terminated prepolymer using polycaprolactone diol. This is because polycaprolactone diol (PCL diol) crystallizes easily due to its characteristics. This is a study on how to improve it.
