Polymer Material Technology for Next-generation Display Industry

The next-generation display industry is evolving around changes in diverse platforms, diversification of functions, and convergence with other industries. In this technological advancement, polymer materials play a critical role. Various polymer materials are being used, among which the importance of display substrate materials and spot adhesive materials is increasing. Various foundational technologies are being studied to develop these materials, including material design, manufacturing processes, reliability evaluation, and model evaluation. Comprehensive research is ongoing at all stages. This presentation will focus on transformable displays among next-generation displays, look at previous research cases of the materials mentioned, and aim to share the research results of this consortium.
