As the abnormal climate change worldwide increases, Interest in carbon neutrality to solve global warming is increasing. Plastic for carbon neutrality is being developed into recycled or biodegradable plastic. Vehicle air conditioner filters (Cabin Filters) is difficult to recycle due to filtered dust. In this paper, we propose a Cabin filter composed of PLA and PET polymer that can be biodegraded after disposal. PLA polymer is extracted from biomass such as sugar cane and has excellent carbon reduction effect and biodegradability, but has poor mechanical properties. Biodegradable PET has excellent mechanical properties. The cabin air filter is composed of multiple layers, and filter performance such as dust removal efficiency is determined according to the density, and thickness of each layer. We developed a filter by applying 2:8 PLA(1~3D) and PET(15D) layers to each layer. This shows that the biodegradable filter satisfies both biodegradable and 99% dust removal efficiency.
