Increasing attention to self-healing and anti-scratch coating leads to metathesis of disulfide and polyurethane polymer to improve mechanical properties and healing temperature in polymer coating. In this study, a two-component self-healing polyurethane spray coating paint with various properties and healing ability was developed by synthesizing self-healing polyurethane oligomers of different lengths and adjusting the ratio of the hardener. In addition, the healing performance and characteristic changes according to the type of disulfide were also confirmed. As a result, self-healing polyurethane oligomers were successfully synthesized according to the NCO:OH ratio and spray-coated with different hardener ratio depending on the type of isocyanates. The best healing performance was observed in mixed isocyanate. Furthermore, due to the lower activation energy of disulfide, aromatic disulfide showed excellent healing performance and high surface energy.
