MXenes (Ti3C2TX) represent a class of two-dimensional transition-metal carbides and carbonitrides known for their excellent conductivity and optical transparency. Nevertheless, the development of transparent MXene electrodes with robust environmental stability suitable for various flexible organic electronic devices has been limited. In this study, we propose a novel approach by laminating a thin polymer film onto a solution-processed MXene layer, effectively safeguarding the MXene film against harsh environmental conditions. This polymer-laminated (PL) MXene electrode opens up new possibilities for developing diverse field-driven photoelectronic devices by utilizing the electric field between the MXene layer and the counter electrode through the insulating polymer.
