The car manufactures recently have been active to achieve carbon neutrality. Due to the nature of the industry, Hyundai Motor Group (HMG) with a lot of responsibility for climate change has developed integrated solutions for a sustainable future beyond mobility to the entire city. As one of these soutions, HMG has launched solar roof intergrated cars (Sonata, IoniQ5 and G80) for the first time in global car manufactures. In this presentation, we will introduce why Hyundai is working on solar energy and what is Hyundai’s strategy for solar energy research for carbon neutrality.
