With the recent growth of the 3D printing market, digital light processing (DLP) 3D printing has gained significant attention due to its rapid printing speed and high resolution. However, the printed products using DLP 3D printing cause plastic waste because the cross-linked thermosets are difficult to reprocess or reshape. Here, photo-curable vitrimer resins were prepared using bio-based materials (e.g., soybean oil). The dynamic covalent bonds are introduced into the resin, which allows the reprocessing of cross-linked structures. The printed objects were reprocessable, easily implemented into complex shapes through welding, and exhibited special shape memory properties. Reprinting was demonstrated by grinding the printed object and mixing it with pristine resin, which showed its original mechanical properties. We expect this eco-friendly liquid resin to be applied to multi-functional material printing as well as composite materialization, further enhancing its sustainability and versatility.
