Here, we developed a stretchable/self-healable polymer with unprecedented high ionic thermoelectric (iTE) performance, which consisted of poly(2-acrylamido-2-methyl-1-propanesulfonic acid (PAAMPSA)-doped poly(3,4-ethylenedioxythiophene) (PEDOT) with phytic acid (PA). The ionic figure-of-merit (ZTi) reached 12.3 at 70% relative humidity (RH). Due to the reversible interactions between PEDOT, PAAMPSA, and PA, PEDOT:PAAMPSA:PA was highly stretchable and self-healable under ambient conditions. Moreover, the iTE properties were retained under repeated mechanical stress. An ionic thermoelectric capacitor (ITEC) device using PEDOT:PAAMPSA:PA achieved the maximum power output and energy density of 4.59μW‧m-2 and 1.95mJ‧m-2 , respectively, at a load resistance of 10KΩ, and a 9-pair ITEC module produced a voltage output of 0.37V‧K-1 with a maximum power output of 0.21μW‧m-2 and energy density of 0.35mJ‧m-2 at 80% RH.
