Displays serve as interfaces connecting users and electronic devices, playing a crucial role in effectively visualizing information and providing user feedback. With the advent of the Fourth industrial revolution driven by technologies such as the Internet-of-things, the display industry is striving to improve the inherent performance of display devices, while also exploring the development of displays with various form factors to create new user experiences and overcome the limitations of conventional displays. In particular, quantum dot light-emitting diodes (QLEDs) that utilize quantum dots as emissive materials offer significant advantages over traditional commercial displays in terms of high color reproducibility, solution-processability, and cost-effective fabrication process. This presentation aims to introduce various research studies related to the development of QLEDs with flexible, foldable, and stretchable form factors, while explaining the material and structural strategies employed in each study.
