Perovskites are promising materials for next-generation light-emitting diodes (LEDs). However, due to their low mechanical properties and vulnerability to additional solution processing, there are limitations in their application and tuning for next-generation flexible devices. To address these challenges, we have developed a solution by forming a hybrid film that blends perovskite quantum dots with polymers, resulting in improved process stability and mechanical properties. We created a film by mixing CsPbBr3 perovskite quantum dots with a charge transport polymer Poly(2-vinylcarbazole) (PVK), and through solution processing, we were able to vary the perovskite composition, producing green and red-emitting LED devices. These results demonstrate the successful enhancement of the perovskite properties through the combination with polymers, paving the way for further advances in perovskite-based LED technologies with improved mechanical and processing characteristics for next-generation flexible devices.
