The increasing demand for sustainable materials in various industries has prompted extensive research on the development of environmentally friendly composite films. In this study, we present the fabrication of a novel composite film by integrating cellulose nanofibrils(CNF) with biomass-derived materials. The aim of this work is to explore the potential of utilizing renewable resources for advanced applications in various industries. Extensive characterization techniques were employed to evaluate the film's properties, including FT-IR, UTM, swelling test, UV-visible spectroscopy, and antibacterial activity tests. The results demonstrated that the biomass content plays a vital role in the film’s mechanical strength, antibacterial activity, and UV-blocking ability. The prepared composite film shows great potential for various advanced applications in the medical and packaging fields. This work was supported by the material and component technology R&D Program through the KEIT(20019204).
