In this paper, we propose a versatile method for photopatterning silver nanowire networks, utilizing photoinduced nanowire - nanowire and nanowire-substrate cross-linking. Our method requires only a small loading of the photo cross-linking agent, preserving the intrinsic physical characteristics of the silver nanowire network. Leveraging the roughness-assisted wetting phenomenon, the resulting patterns can be selectively hybridized to form bilayer nanowire/conducting polymer electrodes. The hybrid transparent electrodes generated through this method exhibit low roughness, excellent tolerance to oxidation or electrochemical processes, and mechanical stability against bending. Importantly, these improvements do not compromise the excellent optical and electrical characteristics achieved from the pristine silver nanowire network. To demonstrate the practical application of our approach, Research assembles an active-matrix-driven electrochromic display using the resulting hybrid transparent electrodes.
