Recently, there has been significant attention directed towards intrinsically stretchable organic solar cells (IS-OSCs) due to omnidirectional stretchability, seamless integrability, and ease of fabrication. However, under human body elongation (≈40%), cracks in IS-OSCs are inevitable, and the mechanical failure origin is unclear. We clarify crack-initiation and propagation mechanisms and propose a crack-free substrate/electrode platform using a double-locking scheme, achieving IS-OSCs with crack-onset strain exceeding 40%. The double-locked IS-OSCs reach 10.2% efficiency, retaining 79.7% PCE at 40% strain.
