Polyamide has excellent properties such as high strength, good toughness, durability of abrasion, and processability. This appears due to strong interchain hydrogen bonds formed between adjacent amide groups. In this study, polyamides were synthesized from terephthaloyl chloride (TPCL), isophthaloyl chloride (IPCL), 2,2'-bis(trifluoromethyl)benzidine (TFMB), and 2,2'-(ethylenedioxy)bis(ethylamine), and transparent polyamide copolymer films were obtained. For chemical structure analysis, Fourier transform nuclear magnetic resistance (FT-NMR) and Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FT-IR) were used. The thermal stabilities and mechanical properties were estimated using thermo-gravimetric analyzer (TGA) and universal tensile machine (UTM). It was confirmed that as the content of aliphatic diamine increased, it had higher tensile strain value.
