Conductive polymer aerogels offer several advantages, facile synthesis, high conductivity, excellent redox process, structural robustness, and remarkable mechanical properties. Herein, we report an efficient strategy for producing polyaniline (PANI) aerogels that are highly scalable and have significantly improved mechanical, electrical, and electrochemical properties. In particular, the prepared PANI aerogel was suitable for use as a pressure sensor due to its excellent piezoelectric properties, and the three-dimensional solid networks formed by boronate-crosslinking enabled rapid and excellent sensitivity under various compressive forces. The results of this work will promote the application of PANI aerogels in various applications, including pressure sensors and energy storage devices.
