Supraparticles consist of colloidal particle(e.g. nano or micro size particles) assemblies and it has the advantages of being able to use a variety of functional materials. Herein, we synthesized the supraparticles with TiO2 and Glucose oxidase incorporated silica (GOx@silica) nanoparticles (NPs) and Fe3O4 NPs by the surface-templated evaporation driven supraparticle synthesis. The GOx@silica NPs generates reactive oxygen species(ROS) such as H2O2, superoxide in the presence of glucose conditions. The photocatalytic activity of TiO2 is enhanced by supporting the production of OH radicals through UV-A irradiation. This effective enzymatic-photocatalytic cascade reaction of supraparticles also attributes to the degradation of aqueous organic contaminants and antibacterial activity. Furthermore, The magnetic properties of Fe3O4 NPs in the synthesized supraparticles catalyst are useful for removal and reusability.
