In this study, all-solid-state polymer electrolytes were prepared via thiol-ene click reaction between anion-trapping boron moieties and polysiloxane. Boron containing poly(ethylene glycol) (PEG) crosslinker was synthesized by the reaction between trimethyl borate and poly(ethylene glycol) methacrylate. Branched polysiloxane with thiol group was synthesized by acid-catalyzed reaction between (3-mercaptopropyl)dimethoxymethylsilane and (3-mercaptopropyl)trimethylsilane. Allyl PEG was synthesized by reaction between poly(ethylene glycol) methyl ether and allyl bromide using KOH catalyst. The all-solid-state polymer electrolytes were prepared by UV-initiated thiol-ene click reaction between carbon-carbon double bond of allyl PEG and the boron crosslinker and thiol group of polysiloxane. The thermal properties and ionic conductivity of the prepared solid polymer electrolytes were investigated.
