Stability Cesium Lead Halide Perovskite Quantum Dots obtained by Amino Acid Mediated Synthesis

Cesium lead trihalide perovskites (CsPbX3, X=Cl-, Br-, I-) quantum have a unique crystallization behavior and a high extinction coefficient in the visible light range and excellent photoelectric conversion efficiency. Because of these unique optical properties, perovskite quantum dots (PeQDs) have been widely studied in recent years. PeQDs are inexpensive and easy to manufacture with potential applications into various fields such as display, UV sensor, solar cell, and X-ray scintillation based on these advantages. Our research is focused on improving light stability of PeQDs. Here we present the results from synthesis of PeQDs in presence of amino acid. Optical properties and stability of the amino acid functionalized PeQDs are described in this poster.
