Department of Materials Science and Engineering Pohang University of Science and Technology(POSTECH), South Korea TENURE-TRACK FACULTY POSITION The Department of Materials Science and Engineering (mse.postech.ac.kr) at POSTECH (www.postech.ac.kr) invites applicants for two or three tenure track positions at the Assistant or Associate Professor levels in the following areas. (1) Fundamental Materials Science - Low-dimensional Photonics Materials/Devices - Computational Materials Science (First-principles Calculations) (2) Smart Materials Engineering - Biomedical Materials/Devices - Energy/Electrochemecial Materials/Devices (3) Other Materials Science and Engineering Applicants must have a doctoral degree in a materials research related discipline with an outstanding research record. The successful candidate must be able to teach undergraduate level courses in the areas of materials science and engineering, and should have a strong interest in developing new and innovative graduate courses. It is important for the applicant to demonstrate motivation and an ability to develop research programs in collaboration with other faculty members and serve the academic/research community.
