The 7th International Symposium on Two-Dimensional Correlation Spectroscopy (2DCOS-7)
The 7th International Symposium on Two-Dimensional Correlation Spectroscopy (2DCOS-7, http://www.2dcos.org/) will be held in ECC, Ewha Womans University, Seoul, Korea, from 21 to 24 August, 2013.
The purpose of this 2DCOS-7 will be to highlight and treat in-depth recent developments and progress in the field of 2D correlation spectroscopy (2DCOS). 2DCOS is a powerful tool to understand the dynamics of natural phenomena with spectroscopy. Research and techniques that utilize 2DCOS will be topic of the conference.
These topics will include, but are not limited to:
• Dynamic 2D IR Spectroscopy
• Generalized 2D Correlation Analysis
• Multi-Spectral-Region 2D Correlation Spectroscopy
• Multi-Technique 2D Correlation Spectroscopy
• 2D Correlation Analysis of Vibrational Optical Activity Spectra
The conference will cover all aspects of two-dimensional correlation spectroscopy ranging from the theory to applications in various fields, such as materials characterizations, protein biophysics, and nanotechnology. Not only vibrational spectroscopy, but also any other topics concerning 2D correlation spectroscopy may be included.
In the conference, 30 invited speakers from all over the world (more than 10 countries) will give a plenary talk and invited talks. Poster presentations will presents the new idea and most recent achievements based on the unique 2DCOS technique.
2DCOS-7 provides the free 2DCOS workshop, which will be the complete introduction to 2D correlation spectroscopy. It is intention of instructors that anyone who goes through this workshop should become well equipped and ready to start his or her 2D correlation study.
The dead line of abstract submission is April 1, 2013.
