Res., 30, 880 2022 A special treatment was performed on the metal surface, and insert molding was performed to improve bonding strength between the metal and plastic, polycarbonate PC and PC containing glass fiber GF The metal surface treatment is nickel plating using micro-particles, artificial diamond and aluminum oxide. Adhesive strength varied according to the particle type, particle size, and plating height. The adhesive strength of the PC containing GF was 25% higher than that of the PC without GF.
