ADVANCES IN THE CHARACTERIZATION OF POLYMETRIC MATERIALS.
Polymerization is process of reacting monomer molecules together in a chemical reaction to form polymer chain or three dimensional networks or is the chemical reaction in which molecular mass molecules are formed from monomers. There are many forms of polymerization and different exist to categorize them. 
Forms of polymerization 
1. Homopolymers 
2. Copolymers.
Homopolymers

Copolymers

In a chemical compounds, polymerization can occur via variety of reaction mechanism that very in complexity due to the functional group present in the reactant and their inherent steric effect in more straight forward polymerization of alkenes from polymers through relatively simple radical reaction, in contrast, reaction involving substitution at a carboxyl group requires more complex synthesis due to the way in which reactant polymerize. Alkenes can also be polymerized with the aid of strong acids. 
As alkenes can polymerized in radical reaction, the formal essential compound like polyethylene and polyvinyl chloride (PVC), which are produce in high tonnages each year due to their usefulness in manufacturing process of commercial products such as piping, insulation, and packaging, i.e. polymer like (PVC) are known as homopolymers, as they consist of repeated long chain or structure of same monomer unit, whereas polymers that consist more monomer are known as co-polymers or (co polymers) other monomer unit such as formaldehyde hydrates or simple aldehydes.
