Abstract
Although anion exchange membrane (AEM) water electrolysis (AEMWE) is a viable technology for green hydrogen generation, the inherent chemical structures of conventional AEMs typically limit their performance and durability. Here, we report a facile, one-pot polymerization strategy to synthesize highly efficient and durable AEMs. The resulting membrane architecture effectively accelerated ionic conduction and improved thermochemical resilience. The prepared AEM exhibited outstanding AEMWE performance that surpassed that of commercial counterparts, while simultaneously ensuring stable operation over extended periods. Our approach offers an efficient methodology for fabricating next-generation ion-exchange membranes for various energy devices.
