Abstract

Polymer resins with high thermal stability are in growing demand for advanced structural applications, whereas conventional polymers undergo rapid degradation under such harsh conditions. In this work, a novel high-temperature polymer resin was designed with an emphasis on both thermal robustness and synthetic accessibility, and was prepared from commercial monomers through a simple polymerization. The chemical structure of the synthesized resin was characterized by NMR and FT-IR spectroscopy. Its molecular characteristics were analyzed by GPC, while the curing and thermal degradation behaviors were investigated by DSC and TGA. On this basis, the network formation and thermal stability of the cured resin were discussed in relation to its molecular architecture and processability, providing practical insight into the design of next-generation heat-resistant polymer networks.
