All-in-one organic ligand for emitting perovskite nanocrystals: Efficient dispersion, photocurable and charge transporting capability

Abstract
Perovskite nanocrystals (PNCs) have attracted significant attention as next-generation display materials owing to their outstanding photoluminescence quantum yield (PLQY), wide color gamut, and narrow emission bandwidth. However, their poor solvent resistance makes the fine patterning of PNC films challenging. In this study, we developed photocurable organic ligands (AzL1-Th and AzL2-Th) for high-resolution patterning of PNC displays. These ligands, incorporating azide functional groups, provide efficient photocrosslinking and favorable charge transport while preserving the high PLQY of PNCs. Furthermore, crosslinked PNC light-emitting diodes (LEDs) based on AzL1-Th were successfully demonstrated. These results highlight the potential of photocurable ligands for damage-free micropatterning of PNC films and their application in high-resolution PNC displays.
