S11 PMSE–PSK50 Anniversary Symposium: Advancing Polymer Science for a Sustainable and Intelligent Future
The American Chemical Society’s Polymeric Materials: Science and Engineering Division (ACS PMSE) will host a special session at the IUPAC–PSK50 conference in celebration of the 50th Anniversary of the Polymer Society of Korea. This session is organized to honor this milestone while strengthening the long-standing friendship between Korea and the United States and fostering new opportunities for joint research and international collaboration. Building on PMSE’s tradition of bridging fundamental science and practical innovation, the program will highlight cutting-edge advances in polymer design, synthesis, processing, and applications that address global challenges in sustainability, energy, and advanced materials. By bringing together leading researchers from both nations and beyond, the session aims to create a vibrant platform for networking, idea exchange, and the development of enduring partnerships that will shape the future of polymer science and engineering.

Topics will include:

  • Sustainable Polymer Systems for Energy and Environment
  • Polymeric Materials for Electronics, Semiconductors, and Healthcare Applications
  • Polymeric Membranes for Separation, Filtration, Sensing, and Energy Devices
