Early attempts for blue OLED have relied on fluorescent compounds. However device instability and restricted efficiency due to the emission of only 25 % of excitons limits blue OLED applications. To achieve very high efficiency, one promising and trailblazing approach is the utilization of phosphor-sensitiezd thermally activated delayed fluorescence. Here, we reported solution-processed deep blue organic light emitting diodes with high efficiency, and good color purity, which have the tremendous potential of these phosphorescent emitters for lighting and display technologies.
