Recently, Triboelectric Nanogenerators (TENGs) have garnered significant attention owing to their ability to convert mechanical energy into electrical energy. Despite these advantages, TENGs face challenges for practical applications owing to insufficient output current. To address this issue, various techniques such as nano-patterning, and surface treatment have been extensively investigated. In this presentation, we will demonstrate the incorporation of polymeric composites for enhanced output performance of TENGs through suppressing tribocharge recombination. The corresponding mechanism will be discussed by investigating various material/electrical characteristics of such TENGs. We will also demonstrate a feasibility of practical applications based on the developed TENGs exhibiting increased output current densities. We believe that this study can provide a new route of polymeric composition to realize advanced energy-harvesting technologies based on high-performance TENGs.
