Organic electrochemical transistors (OECTs) hold great potential for bio-interfaces due to their superior transconductance, biocompatibility, and flexibility. They are capable of simultaneously monitoring complex biological signals through a multi-electrode array (MEA). However, producing large arrays remains a challenge. In this research, we introduce a more straightforward manufacturing process for a 6x6 MEA OECT utilizing laser ablation, which eliminates the need for intricate photolithography. Additionally, we created a vertical structure array with a short channel length, resulting in a compact design and high transconductance. We showcased high-performance ECG sensors utilizing this technology, which could potentially transform skin-mounted body-monitoring devices.
