Shape-deformable displays (foldable, bendable, rollable, and stretchable) play a crucial role in advancing flexible device technologies. However, current bendable display technologies rely on mechanical wires or hinge systems, which compromise the overall thinness and flexibility. In this study, we propose a novel fabrication technique for creating lightweight and thin bendable displays by utilizing a piezoelectric polymer, Poly(vinylidene fluoride) (PVDF), which can convert electrical energy into mechanical energy. This approach maintains the flexibility of the display while also enabling simultaneous sound generation in response to the applied frequency signals. This innovative technology is expected to drive advancements in the field of flexible electronics.
