Traditionally, materials such as CNTs, MXene, and graphene have been utilized to enhance the performance of evaporated hydrovoltaic power generators, However, their efficiency is hindered by slow heat supplementation at ambient temperatures and phase transitions of water molecules. In this study, we propose PANI/PAN/CNT coated with LDH@MXene with aligned channels via directional freezing to reduce heat loss and accelerate water phase transition rate. high photothermal conversion efficiency of LDH provides sufficient heat for hydrovoltaic production, while the high negative charge of LDH@MXene accelerates the transition rate of water molecules. The vertically aligned channels formed through the combination of PAN/CNT enhance the rate of water supply, facilitating continuous hydrovoltaic generation. This design is anticipated to elevate the existing open-circuit voltage (Voc) from 0.8 V to over 1 V and boost water harvesting performance from 2 kgm-²h-1 to 3 kgm-²h-1.
