Multi-scale simualtions for Extreme Environment Materials

The field of materials science has seen remarkable progress in recent years, largely owing to the computational techniques in the development and investigation of new materials. This study aims to utilizing computational approaches especially for materials design and characterization of engineering ceramics. Here, our group investigated high-entropy(HE) ceramics and ceramic hard coating materials using multi-scale simulations such as ab initio and finite element methods. Based on the results, this computational approach will provide a fundamental guidance and excellent solutions for developing advanced materials. In addition, through this talk, we hope to foster collaboration and innovation in the quest for next-generation materials with tailored properties and enhanced performance.
