Antimicrobial resistance makes it important to develop new biological materials that fight microbial illnesses. This work blends hyaluronic acid (HA), montmorillonite (MMT), and zinc oxide nanoflowers (ZnONFs) to develop a composite with antibacterial and biocompatible characteristics. Layer-by-layer assembly and solution-casting are used to make the composite. Characterizing the composites' structural, morphological, and others with FTIR, XRD, and SEM confirms their properties. Antibacterial effectiveness is evaluated against clinically relevant infections and biocompatibility is verified using cytotoxicity and histological examination. The polymeric HA-MMT-ZnONFs composite showed considerable antibacterial improvement. It may also improve next-generation medical implants, medication delivery systems, and other antimicrobial applications. This study shows that multifunctional polymeric composites can solve biological problems and improve sustainable healthcare materials.
