Research on Micro LED is pivotal in transforming the display industry due to its exceptional performance and energy efficiency. This technology provides advantages like superior resolution, brightness, and minimal energy usage, rendering it immensely desirable for implementation in smartphones, TV, automotive displays, and beyond. Recent advancements in GaN nanorod LED technology have significantly increased efficiency and demonstrated emission characteristics similar to lasers, thereby showcasing potential applications in the fields of Augmented Reality (AR) and Extended Reality (XR) displays. This technological advancement is expected to contribute significantly to the advancement of AR and XR technologies by providing better display performance and efficiency. This presentation will explore the core research directions of nanorods and present the findings of our research team
