Recently, the demand for developing high energy density and high safety batteries is increasing. Accordingly, lithium polymer batteries with stable and processable polymer electrolytes have attracted much attention instead of the liquid electrolyte having a risk of explosion. However, the solid polymer electrolyte has a low ionic conductivity and the high interfacial resistance between the electrolyte and electrode. In this study, we fabricated a polymer battery with reduced interfacial resistance between the solid electrolyte and electrode by applying homogeneous polymer as the electrode and electrolyte. 3,4-Ethylenedioxy thiophene (EDOT) oligomer was introduced into the solid electrolyte. Also, to improve the lithium salt dissociation ability of EDOT oligomer, poly(vinylidene fluoride) (PVdF) was blended. And then all solid polymer battery was manufactured by PEDOT based electrode and oligo(EDOT)/PVdF based electrolyte, and the electrochemical property was evaluated.
