With recent advances in interactive displays, the development of a wireless interactive display with no electrical interconnection is of great interest. Here, we present a wireless three-mode human-interactive display, powered by direct capacitive coupling transfer. The display is capable of sensing and visualizing various stimuli, consists of three layers: two in-plane metal electrodes with a separated gap, a ferroelectric polymer composite layer, and a stimuli-responsive polymer-based layer. The stand-alone operation of the display is allowed by the unique in-plane power transfer through the stimuli-sensitive polar bridge, making it appropriate for the wireless dynamic monitoring of medical fluids. Moreover, a haptic wireless three-mode interactive display mounted on a human finger is demonstrated, whereby finger touch is wirelessly displayed by various outputs of EL, inverse piezoelectric sound, and tactile vibration, allowing for developing a wireless smart braille display.
