Utilizing the localized surface plasmon resonance (LSPR) effect of metal nanoparticles can enhance the electroluminescent (EL) of QD-LEDs. In previous studies, it has been shown that without proper surface modification, the application of metal nanoparticles can lead to aggregation within the layer, thereby decreasing device efficiency. In this study, conductive polymers for the hole transport layers (HTLs) were introduced with silver nanoparticles as ligands. For Ag/conjugated polymer hybrid nanoparticles, even with a high concentration of silver nanoparticles, stability can be maintained and the external quantum efficiency (EQE) of the device can be significantly improved. Poor miscibility between the HTLs and nanoparticles can cause phase separation due to heat during device fabrication and operation, leading to aggregation. However, with the excellent miscibility of Ag/conjugated polymer hybrid nanoparticles, the morphology remains unchanged, ensuring stable operation of devices.
