Aerogel is a material that attracts attention in fields such as aerospace, thermal insulation, catalyst-based materials, construction, and electronics due to its low thermal conductivity and density, high specific surface area, and porosity resulting from its porous 3D structure. Recently, with the development of research in wearable devices and electronic skin, the need for user-friendly sensors that are lightweight and highly flexible has increased. Aerogel, with its excellent electrical conductivity, high sensitivity, and various mechanical properties, is suitable as a pressure sensor for wearable devices. In this study, a Waterborne polyurethane (WPU) aerogel using Tris(2-aminoethyl)amine(TREN) as a cross linker to improve the performance of the pressure sensor. The structural, mechanical, thermal and electrical properties of WPU composite aerogels were examined by SEM, UTM, TGA and multimeter.
