In order to improve the mechanical properties of Cellulose Nanofiber(CNF) used in such as clothing fabric and high performance composite materials, highly oriented CNF wet spun fibers are required. First, the diameter and length of each CNF wet spun fiber were determined using electron microscopy and DLS. The appearance of liquid crystals in a bulk state suspension without flow was observed with a birefringence depending on the concentration of the CNF suspension. Additionally, the phase change of the suspension was studied by comparing the viscosity according to shear rate and concentration. Using the CNF suspension studied above, wet-spinning was performed according to the draw ratio(DR). The cross section of the wet spun fiber was observed using a microscope, and the orientation of each spun fiber according to the DR were compared with the HSL model.
