Development of Aliphatic Polyisocyanates(PI) curing agent with flexible properties for polyurethane resin

Polyurethane resin is used in a variety of ways these days. Among them, it is also applied to PCB boards for 2K coating to improve weather resistance. Recently, the applying of FPCB(Flexible Printed Circuit Board) is increasing for space utilization advantages in electronic devices. For this purpose, a change in polyurethane resin was also needed. Polyurethane resin is made through a combination of polyol and polyisocyanate. Therefore, flexibility is required for polyisocyanate curing agents. This study introduces the development process of polyisocyanate with flexible properties by using polycaprolactone diol.
