Liquid crystal elastomers(LCEs), which integrate the elastic properties of rubber with the anisotropic characteristics of liquid crystals, exhibit reversible deformations in response to various external stimuli, making them prominent as stimuli-responsive smart materials. The ability to program controllable shape changes within the materials further enhance their potential for applications in soft robotics, actuators, and sensors. LCEs can switch phases by stimulation, resulting in variation of their physical properties. In this study, by introducing dynamic chain extenders to LCEs, we demonstrate a method to provide recyclability, reprogrammability and complex molecular patterns within a crosslinked network polymers. Additionally, a systematic formulation study with dynamic chemistry was investigated to tune various physical properties including mechanical, optical, and structural properties.
