Swarm intelligence can offer functionalities to microrobots. However, untethered system complicates communications between microrobots. Herein, intelligent magnetic microrobot swarm is presented by self-assembling. Replica molding and magnetization methods are implemented to harvest multiple microrobots. Microrobots autonomously assemble and form swarms with high packing density, high aspect ratio or high assembly stiffness. Microrobot swarms with different features are employed to perform versatile task executions. Versatile task execution via microrobot swarm provides insights into mass-production process and swarm control, expanding functionalities of miniaturized robots.
