Stretchable electronic devices that can stretch in multiple directions can dissipate energy from applied strain and protect devices from deformation of microstructural deformation. Therefore, it can be applied to bioelectronic devices and stretchable/foldable/rollable displays and is a key area of high value industries in the future society. In semiconductor polymers, electrical properties and stretchability are considered to be trade-offs, so increasing both simultaneously has been a major challenge. Here, we propose to develop conjugated polymers with simultaneously high charge mobility and high stretchability by controlling molecular regularity and crystallinity. To implement the above method, we will introduce a thiophene conjugation spacer. This will allow us to investigate the structure-property relationship of conjugated polymers.
