Acrylate polymer is advantageous for visual applications due to its excellent optical properties. It also offers durability and resistance, contributing to environmental reliability. This versatility has led to extensive research and use as a material for Pressure Sensitive Adhesives (PSA). With increasing concerns about environmental pollution, there is growing interest in eco-friendly materials. Research on resource circulation and the reduction of microplastics is gaining attention. Lipoate-based polymers, which are highly degradable, are being recognized as promising eco-friendly materials. Although both acrylate and lipoate-based polymers are used in PSA, no research has yet compared their distinct characteristics. Since the fundamental monomers of the polymers differ, variations in properties depending on the backbone are expected. This study aims to analyze the rheological differences according to the backbone and examine the advantages of each monomer.
